Kicking away the two bodies that fell towards him, Luis took a look at the thirty or so bodies lying on the ground behind him. He realized that he had been too careless.
„I can’t seem to kill them all.“ It was the first time he had encountered a city where every random appearance turned out to be a dark creature with the strength of a master. He never expected that after he detonated the arsenal, it would be like igniting a fuse that set off the entire dark underworld city!
The central castle was attacked by an explosion, causing all the dark creatures in the underground city to converge towards him. Initially, Luis didn’t think much of it, but when he was faced with a dozen Silver Fang werewolves and a large number of dark creatures of various appearances, he found it difficult to move forward. Not because he couldn’t push through, but because he feared being surrounded deeper inside. It would be much harder to escape if he got trapped inside later on!
„Space Construct Formation. Dammit! I can’t destroy either of the two key targets. I should have delayed setting off the timed bombs in the arsenal by half an hour.“
Seeing more and more dark creatures gathering in front of him, Luis swung his blade to kill those attempting to ambush him from the rooftops beside him, regretting his impulsive actions earlier.
But the situation was now inevitable. If he tried to advance further, he might end up losing his life here today. It was time to retreat. Summoning the Black Rock Guardian Totem, he wielded two dark energy long knives to fend off the increasing waves of dark creatures and seized the opportunity to disengage.
„Twenty more minutes. I need to call back those people!“
Leaving the central castle area, he ran all the way to the planned escape location, near the Forbidden Magic Stone prison. Drawing the signal flare from his waist, he fired three shots in succession. The red signal flares rose and hit the top of the stone wall, glowing brightly, as Luis began to summon the professionals who had escaped from the prison.
„I finally found you! Killing my comrades, do you think you can get away so easily?“
A blood-red giant wolf smashed through a building where Luis was located, followed by a Bloodfang werewolf and a horde of minions.
„Ignorant fool!“
Since he had already come this far, Luis had to wait for those people to arrive. There was no reason for him to continue retreating, especially since the opponent was just a Bloodfang werewolf. What was there to fear?
Engaging in battle with the Bloodfang werewolf, while the Black Rock and the totem giant wolf tangled together, Luis wielded his dual blades.

Turning into a streak of deep blue flame, he swiftly raced through the streets, leaving a trail of flames with Abyssal sparks in his wake.
Trink auf! Der Blutklauenwolf ist keine gewöhnliche Kreatur. Als er angriff, bildeten sich sofort zwei riesige, blutrote Klauen, die auf Luis zuschossen. Luis blockierte die Klauen mit seinen beiden Schwertern. Die Kollision zwischen der Abyss-Flamme und der blutroten Energie überraschte Luis, da die Blutklauen des Wolfes erstaunlich stark waren und die Abyss-Flamme standhalten konnten.
Der Blutklauenwolf gegenüber war überrascht, dass ein Mensch solche dämonische Kräfte kontrollieren konnte und sein Gesichtsausdruck wurde noch grimmiger. Luis nutzte seine „Raumkontrolle – Schneiden“-Fähigkeit. Die Klingen seiner Schwerter begannen sich zu verzerren, während sein Schutz-Totem ebenfalls seine Form änderte und die Klingen mit Raumenergie durchdrungen wurden.
Mit einem Schlag auf das blutrötliche Wolftotem gelang es Luis, die Klaue zu durchtrennen und die Energie zu zerstören. In dem Kampf konnte Luis dank seiner verbesserten Raumkontrolle den Blutklauenwolf unterdrücken und setzte ihn permanent unter Druck, indem er schnelle und kraftvolle Schläge ausführte.
Während Luis und der Wolf kämpften, versuchten die Untergebenen des Wolfes mehrmals einzugreifen, wurden jedoch von Luis‘ Abyss-Flamme getroffen und innerhalb von Sekunden verbrannt und in Blut und Fleisch verwandelt.
Ein sandfarbener Braunbär stürmte heran und stieß das Wolftotem um, während ein professioneller Helfer herbeieilte, um Luis zu unterstützen. Gemeinsam gelang es ihnen, den Blutklauenwolf zu besiegen, der bald keine Abwehrmöglichkeit mehr hatte.
Nachdem sie den Wolf besiegt hatten, beschlossen sie, in fünf Minuten zu fliehen und zum Zug an der Dungeon-Peripherie zu gelangen. Ein professioneller Helfer kam als erster an und wartete auf Luis. Sie waren auf die Ankunft anderer angewiesen, die jedoch nicht rechtzeitig kamen.
Einer der vermissten Helfer blieb zurück, um Verfolger abzulenken, und opferte sein Leben für die Gruppe. Ein Feuerlöwe brach inmitten des Chaos in der Festung aus, was die Flucht noch dringlicher machte. Luis entschied, dass sie gehen mussten, um den Einsatz seines Kameraden nicht umsonst verstreichen zu lassen.
Als sie sich umdrehten, erschallte ein ohrenbetäubendes Kreischen über der Festung.
